When you use the Even3 Events Platform (“Platform”), you entrust us with the use of some personal data. So, to clarify our commitment and to maintain this trust, we will describe to you how the privacy practices carried out by our Platform, through the website https://www.even3.com.br, takes place.

Here, in our Privacy Policy, we explain to you what personal data is collected, how it is used, stored, and shared, as well as your choices regarding them. Thus, we clarify that Even3 Events acts as “processor” of personal data when acting strictly on behalf of the Organizer and as “controller” when collecting information on its own behalf.

• Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.
• We warn you that the use of the Even3 Events Platform is conditioned to the Terms of Use (“Terms”), which you can check at https://termos-e-politicas.even3.com/category/even3-eventos/, therefore, these documents must be read together in order to have an overview of our Platform.
• If you provide us with personal information, we will only use it for the specific reason it was provided. By submitting the information, you confirm that you have the right to authorize us to process it on your behalf in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

The acceptance of our Policy will be made, when you access or use the Platform, that is, from the first moment you interact with Even3 Events, we are collecting data. Sometimes you provide us with data, as in the registration; sometimes data about you is collected automatically, through the acceptance of cookies. This will indicate that you are aware of and in full agreement with how we will use your information and data.

1.TO WHAT AND TO WHOM THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLIES

TO WHICH IT APPLIES. Our Privacy Policy applies to the data provided by you, ATTENDEE, who access and/or use the services of Even3 Events through our platform, in the mobile and  web versions of the site, whether when you create an account, register your events, browse or make any use of our Platform.

WHICH DOES NOT APPLY. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites, even if you access them through links contained on the Platform.  Even3 Eventos is NOT responsible for these sites and contents and, furthermore, does not share, subscribe, monitor, validate or accept the way these eventual sites or content storage tools collect, process and transfer your personal information.

We recommend that you consult the respective Privacy Policies to properly inform yourself about the use of your personal information by other websites or other tools.

2. TO HELP YOU BETTER UNDERSTAND OUR PRIVACY POLICY, HERE IS A GLOSSARY WITH SOME KEY WORDS:

• Personal data: is the information that relates directly or indirectly to a person. For example: document number, date of birth, home address, and e-mail address.
• Sensitive Personal Data: is that which may generate some type of discrimination as to the natural person, such as personal data on racial or ethnic origin, religious conviction, political opinion, union membership or membership to philosophical, political or religious organization, data concerning health or sex life, genetic or biometric data.
• Processing: any action or handling performed with the information or your personal data, such as the action of collecting and storing the data.
• Data Subject (Individual):  is the natural person to whom the personal data that is the object of the treatment of this Privacy Policy refers to.
• Data Protection Officer (DPO): person appointed by Even3 to act as a communication channel between the controller, data subjects and the National Authority for Data Protection – ANPD. This is the person responsible for answering all your questions regarding the handling of your data on our website.
• Controller: The natural or legal person, governed by public or private law, responsible for decisions concerning the processing of personal data.
• Processor: is the natural or legal person, under public or private law, responsible for processing personal data on behalf of the controller.
• Cookie: is a small file added to the user’s device to provide a personalized experience when accessing the platform. Cookies help analyze Internet traffic. Through the cookie it is possible to identify and store information about the user’s visit to a specific website. In short, a cookie collects information on user behavior and can generate spam (electronic messages sent to the user in an unsolicited or unwanted way) with the most requested information. However, it does not provide computer access. 

3. RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND TRANSFERS

• Even3 Events shall be the “controller” of the personal data collected due to navigation and individual registration of the Attendee on its platform.
• The Organizer shall be the “controller” and Even3 Events the “processor” of the personal data collected in connection with the use of the services provided by the platform for the creation of events with respect to the personal data collected from Attendees.

4. WHAT INFORMATION EVEN3 EVENTS COLLECTS, RECEIVES AND STORES

The specific type and scope of data we collect about you, Attendee, depends on your activity on the Platform. We collect, receive and store the following types of information:

• Information collected when you use or browse the Platform is for informational purposes only. Access logs. When you use our Platform for informational purposes only (e.g. you do not register on it, that is, you do not submit your data through the website), your internet browser automatically collects, and transfers to us, some basic information related to your use of the website. This “data log” may include: your browser type and version, your operating system and interface, the device used, language preferences, the website from which you are visiting us (“URL referrer”), the page(s) you are visiting our Platform, the date and time of your visit, your internet protocol (IP) address, the actions you perform on the Platform, and the name of your ISP. This data, such as IP address, with date and time of access, is of mandatory collection, according to Law 12,965/2014, but will only be provided to third parties with your express authorization or through judicial demand.
• Data collected in the registration  
  Mandatory: Name and email;
  Optional: Nationality, document number, Gender, phone number and address (zip code, street, state, city and number);
  Observation: The Organizer may add the request for other information that they deem necessary for the execution of the event, justifying its need and purpose through the Privacy Policy of the event to be included in the available field. You, Attendee, must agree or not with the terms and internal policies of each event. Even3 has no management regarding that.
• Data collected for service: email through https://ajuda.even3.com.br/hc/pt-br/requests/new

• Usage data. We collect information about your interactions on Even3 Events, such as your browsing, the pages or other content you access or create, your searches or other actions.
• Location data of the connected device. We collect location data, through your equipment or connected device, if you consent to this through specific cookies. Your authorization to share your location can be revoked at any time. However, this may disable some of the functionality of the Platform.
• Payment data When you make payments through Even3 Events, payment data, such as date and time, amount, and other details of the transaction may be stored and used for fraud prevention purposes. This way we can provide you with a safe and suitable environment in which to conduct your transactions.
• Characteristics of the equipment. As with most applications, in order to work, Even3 Events automatically collects data about your device’s characteristics, including its operating system and version, so that the application’s display is adequate and does not miss the correct formatting, just as it happens with hardware information. 
• Communications with Even3 Events. When you communicate with Even3 Events, we collect information about your communication, including metadata such as date, IP and time of communications and all its content, as well as any information you choose to provide, as long as within the minimum necessary, so that we always provide a better service.

• Information about activities. The Attendee, when using our platform and sending materials in PDF, PowerPoint, etc., allows us to collect this visual material for the exclusive purpose of reproduction in the Platform, according to the provisions of our Terms of Use, and sending to the Organizer, in which case the Organizer will be the exclusive responsible for all use, handling and storage of the materials, and Even3 will not have any management in this sense.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, which are text files generated and stored on your browser or device by websites, applications and online advertisements. Cookies may be used for the following purposes: advertising and marketing, data collection, User authentication, preferences, behavior and interests of the User. The cookies will be authorized in a fractionated way by you, after all the necessary information has been given to you so that you have the necessary transparency and respect to free consent, so we use the AdOpt system.
• Data collected from other platforms. Even3 Events will be able to interact with other platforms and services, such as Google and Facebook. Some of these services may provide us with information about you that we collect to better tailor your preferences in using our services and offer you new features, as well as for market segmentation, sales statistics, market research, and commercial contract negotiations.

5. HOW EVEN 3 EVENTS USES THE INFORMATION COLLECTED

It’s worth noting: we value your privacy! Therefore, all data and information about you are treated with confidentiality and we will only use them for the purposes described and authorized by you, mainly to allow the full use of Even3 Events, always aiming to improve your experience as an Attendeewhen accessing the Platform.

5.1 Authorized uses

Thus, Even3 Events handles your personal information in order to operate, provide, develop and improve the services offered to customers and only when there are legal grounds to do so. This includes processing personal data for:  

• Allowing you to access and use all the functionalities of Even3 Eventos;
• Sending you messages regarding support or service, such as alerts, notifications and updates;
• Communicate with you about products, services, promotions, news, updates, educational content and materials, and other matters in which you may be interested;
• Analyzing User traffic on our Platform;
• Performing targeted advertising, according to your tastes, interests and other information collected;
• Customizing the service to suit your tastes and interests more and more;
• Creating new services and features;
• Verifying or authenticating the information you provide, including by comparing it with data collected from other sources;
• Understanding better user behavior and build behavioral profiles;
• Meeting the legitimate interests of Even3 Events or a third party;
• Seeking to ensure security and fraud prevention;
• Seeking to ensure credit protection and
• Fulfilling legal obligations.

Occasionally, we may use data for purposes not foreseen in this Policy, however, all will be within your legitimate expectations. Any use of your data for purposes that DOES NOT comply with this prerogative will be done with your prior authorization.

5.2 Data Deletion

All data collected will be deleted from our servers when you so request, by free and easy procedure, or when they are no longer necessary or relevant to offer you our services.Unless there is any other reason for its maintenance, such as eventual legal obligation to retain data or need to preserve them to protect the rights of Even3 Events.

You can request the deletion of your data by emailing juridico@even3.com or flagging it on the AdOpt channel. We will delete your data within 10 business days.

5.3 Monitoring

 Even3 Events reserves the right to monitor the entire Platform, mainly to ensure that the rules described in our Terms of Use are being observed or, further, if there is violation or abuse of applicable laws.

5.4 User Deletion

  Even3 Eventos reserves the right to delete a certain User, regardless of the type, in case the present Policy or the Terms of Use are not respected. As we value a good relationship with the Users, we understand that everyone has the right to seek to understand what may cause an eventual deletion. To this end, we have made available the email juridico@even3.com, to which doubts and requests for clarification about the Platform’s motivations can be sent.

6. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

Even3 Eventos may share the information and/or data it collects with

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, service providers, located both in Brazil and in the USA. Information shall be shared anonymously, whenever possible, in order to preserve your privacy. You hereby expressly consent expressly to such sharing.

In addition, Even3 Events may share your personal information with other Users, business partners and service providers, which are relevant for purposes of enabling the provision of services. This sharing occurs based on the following criteria and for the purposes described below:

• Transfer of Assets: All data, information and contents about you can be considered assets in case of negotiations in which Even3 Events takes part. In case Even3 Events is reorganized (acquired or merged) or sold and all or substantially all assets are transferred to a new owner, your personal information may be transferred to the buyer regardless of your authorization to ensure the continuity of services.  Through this Policy, you agree and are aware of this possibility;
• Other Users: sharing of the data that is informed by an interested Attendee with the Organizer, for the purpose of promoting interaction between the parties, issuance of certificates, attendance, among others; and of the contacts by way of communication (telephone and email) of the Attendee with the Organizer in order to enable communication between the parties.
• Third Party Service Providers: We may work with third party service providers to help us operate, execute, enhance, understand, customize, support, and advertise our services. When we share data with third-party service providers, we require them to use your data in accordance with our instructions and confidentiality agreement or, where applicable, your express consent. Due to constant mutability, we do not list them, but you can request them at any time through the email: juridico@even3.com
• Platform Improvement: Even3 Events may share data that does not identify our Users individually with third party service providers, trusted partners in order to better understand what advertisements and services may interest you, to improve the overall quality and effectiveness of our services or their service, or to contribute to academic research.
• Regulatory authorities, judicial or administrative authorities, and credit protection entities: we may share your personal information in order to provide the competent authorities with any information they may request regarding the User and the operations carried out by the User on the Platform. In addition, we may share your personal information with public authorities or private entities to combat fraud and abuse on the Even3 Events Platform, to investigate suspected violations of the law, or to combat any other suspected violation of our Terms of Use or the law;
• With your consent: in other cases than those foreseen above, if there is the objective of sharing personal data and information, we will send you a notification with information about such sharing, to request your consent, in which a specific purpose for the collection of the data will be informed.

7. WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE OVER THE INFORMATION EVEN3 EVENTS COLLECTS

You can always choose not to disclose your data to us, but keep in mind that some of this data may be necessary for you to use the functionality of our applications. Regardless of this, you will always have rights regarding privacy and protection of your personal data.

Accordingly, below we summarize all the rights you have under Brazil’s data protection laws and the General Law of Data Protection (“LGPD”), namely:

• Right to confirmation of processing. Upon requisition, you may request a confirmation of the existence of treatment of your personal data by Even3 Events, under the terms of the applicable legislation;

• Right of access. This right enables you to request and receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you. The deadline will be ten (10) days to send a reply to your request.

To request a copy of your data, please send an e-mail with your request to juridico@even3.com. 

• Right of rectification. This right allows you, at any time, to request the correction and/or rectification of your personal data if you identify that some of them are incorrect. However, in order to make this correction, we will have to check the validity of the data you provide.

• Right of Exclusion. This right enables you to ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. All data collected will be deleted from our servers when you so request or when these are no longer necessary or relevant to offer you our services, unless there is any other reason for their maintenance, such as eventual legal or regulatory obligation to retain data or need to preserve them to protect the rights of Even3 Events, eventual lawsuits, audit purposes of various kinds, or other deadlines defined and substantiated by legal grounds that justify the retention of this data.

To change your personal information or delete it from our database, simply send an email to juridico@even3.com with your request.

• Right to object to processing. You also have the right to object to where and in what context we are processing your personal data for different purposes. In certain situations, we may demonstrate that we have legitimate reasons for processing your data that override your rights, for example, when it is essential for the provision of our applications.
• Right to request anonymization, blocking or deletion. This right allows you to ask us to stop processing your personal data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the accuracy of the data; (b) when you need the data to be kept even if we no longer need it, as necessary; (c) if you object to the use of your data, but in this case we need to check whether we have legitimate reasons to use it.
• Right to portability. We will provide you or your chosen third party with your personal data in a structured and interpretable format.
• Right to withdraw your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. However, this will not affect the legality of any processing done previously. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain services.
• Right to review automated decisions. You also have the right to request a review of decisions made solely on the basis of automated processing of your personal data which affect your interests, including decisions aimed at personal, professional, consumer and credit profiling and/or aspects of your personality.
• Right to be informed about shared data. You may request information from us about your personal data shared by Even3 Events with third parties.

We may need to ask you for specific information from you, to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise your other rights). This is a security measure, to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to anyone who is not entitled to receive it. 

We may also contact you for more information regarding your request in order to expedite our response. 

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within 10 business days. Occasionally the response time may exceed the estimated one, if your request is particularly complex or if you have made several requests. In this case, we will communicate with you and keep you updated on the progress of your request.

8. HOW EVEN3 EVENTS PROTECTS YOUR INFORMATION

All your data is confidential and only people with the proper authorizations will have access to it. Any use of these will be in accordance with this Policy. Even3 Events will undertake all reasonable market efforts to ensure the security of our systems and your data. Our servers are located in different places, to ensure stability and security, and can only be accessed through previously authorized communication channels.

Pay attention! 

• All of your information will be encrypted, whenever possible, if it does not make its use by the Platform unfeasible.
• At any time, you can request a copy of your data stored on our systems. Delivery time 10 (ten) business days.
• Personal data will only be stored until when they are necessary or relevant to the purposes described in this Policy, in case of periods pre-determined by law, for tax or accounting purposes or even when they are necessary for compliance with legal obligation or maintenance of legitimate interests of Even3 Events.

Even3 Events considers your privacy extremely important and will do everything in its power to protect it. However, we cannot guarantee that all data and information about you on our platform will be free from unauthorized access, especially if the credentials needed to access our application are improperly shared. Therefore, you are solely responsible for keeping your password safe, and sharing it with third parties is prohibited. You undertake to notify Even3 Events immediately, by secure means, of any unauthorized use of your account, as well as of unauthorized access by third parties to it.

9. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Even3 Events reserves the right to change this Policy as often as necessary, aiming to provide you with more security, convenience, and to improve your experience. For this reason, it is very important to access our Policy from time to time. To make it easier, we have indicated, at the beginning of the document, the date of the last update. If relevant changes are made that require further consent from you, we will post a new Privacy Policy, subject again to your consent.

10. APPLICABLE LAW

This document is governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, especially Law No. 13.709/2018 (General Data Protection Law); Law No. 12.965/2014 ( Marco Civil da Internet); Law nº 12.527/ 2011(Access to Information Law), Federal Constitution of 1988; Law nº 10.406/2002( Civil Code); Law nº 8.078/1990 ( Consumer Defense Code).

11. JURISDICTION

The Foro da Comarca de Recife is elected as the competent jurisdiction to settle any issues that may arise from this document, expressly waiving any other, however privileged it may be.
